"○" is an adjective and a verb, a new page of design and sustainability in Taiwan.In the action guideline of "use less, use longer, know how to use, use again", we can see the value brought by recycling design, and become the promoter of practicing sustainability; there is no end to recycling, and there is no end to sustainability, and the constant adjustment and search for solutions and promotion of education are the PLAN for recycling and sustainability in the long run.
2023 Taiwan Design Exhibition Main Venue-New Taipei Fine Arts Museum The 2023 Taiwan Design Exhibition, held from 10/6 to 10/22, is jointly organized by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the New Taipei City Government, and executed by the Taiwan Design Research Institute and the Department of Cultural Affairs of the New Taipei City Government. The theme of the exhibition is "○起來"(pronounced as "Circle Up"), which aims at circling up the core imagery of the New Taipei City through design, and presenting the spirit of the city's truth, goodness, and beauty and the spirit of design that is built by a collective effort. The exhibition is organized into five zones: A: Main Zone, B: Satellite Zone, C: Taste Tour, D: Design Response, and E: Urban Reinvention.
A5《FORMOSAT-O》New Taipei City Art Museum 6F Circular The design of FORMOSAT-O is based on a circular system, propelling us toward a sustainable lifestyle.
"Just like a solitary spaceship, Earth's resources are finite, so is its capacity for waste management. Humankind must find its place in Earth's circular ecosystem and master materials reproduction and reuse. In this exhibition, dozens of new (recyclable) materials made from recycled materials are displayed on the walls of the spacecraft-like immersive experience space, aiming to guide people to think about how to realize recycling with limited resources.
Debut of REFIT™ Smart Clothing Recycling Box
REFIT™ is the latest textile sustainable circulation program from SINGTEX® where 100% polyester single-material clothes are decomposed, reassembled, and reproduced into brand-new clothes.
In order to reach the ideal country for textile products, SINGTEX® has cooperated with TDRI and Miniwiz to develop the "REFIT™ Smart Clothing Recycling Box". Through intelligent technology, this recycling box can recognize the material of fabrics, solving the problem of blended fabrics that were difficult to recycle in the past, and enhancing the efficiency and feasibility of recycling used clothes.

National Sports Day 99
In response to the National Sports Day on 9/9, REFIT™ clothing recycling bins were set up at Xinzhuang Gymnasium, Taishan National Sports Center, and Wugu National Sports Center in New Taipei City from 9/12 to 12/12. The REFIT™ program allows people who are passionate about sports to participate in the REFIT™ program. Through the REFIT™ program, your old clothes will be given a new life.
