Singtex (4433) is actively expanding and investing in the outdoors, sports, medical and military industry. Magictex, a subsidiary of Singtex Group (4433), was awarded the bid for Plant 302 of the Material Production Center, Armaments Bureau of the Ministry of National Defense (MND), with a contract value of NT$3.61 billion, securing a five-year operating license. The formal handover took place on February 13, 2023, followed by an unveiling ceremony on March 25.
Plant 302, located in Xiaogang District, Kaohsiung City, adjacent to the Kaohsiung International Airport, serves 14 military units, including the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Military Police, and Reserve Command. It manufactures 900 products, including daily textile items like uniforms, underwear, towels, and special forces gear. Leveraging Magictex’s prior experience and expertise in military uniform contracts and Singtex's 34-year expertise in fabric research, the companies aim to provide the military with high-quality wearing experiences dedicated to researching and reforming military attire. This endeavor aims to enhance national defense capability, instilling the armed forces with a sense of pride in safeguarding our country.
