How does it work


AIRMEM™ hydrophilic membrane

The hydrophilic property of the membrane absorbs moisture to achieve moisture permeability. AIRMEM™ can be combined with a variety of fabrics to achieve different levels of waterproof and windproof performance. AIRMEM™ hydrophilic membrane can be for a wide variety of applications.

AIRMEM™ microporous membrane

Millions of micropores in the material let moisture pass through directly to achieve moisture permeability. The remarkable waterproof performance is attributed to the small diameter of the micropores (0.2-10μm), which is small enough prevent water molecules in damp weather conditions (100-3000μm) from entering through the fabric surface, but it is large enough to let moisture from the body (0.0004μm) to evaporate. The unique structure enables air exchange to eliminate dampness while remaining completely waterproof.

AIRMEM™ COLORSHELL uses microporous membrane technology. It not only provides windproof, waterproof and oil repellent properties but also excellent moisture permeability to keep the wearer stay dry and comfortable.

AIRMEM™ COLORSHELL is reversible, allowing the user to wear the membrane as the outer shell - which provides excellent waterproof and windproof properties - in the rain, or wear the membran as the inner layer for casual wear, which offers good water repellence and moisture permeability. The wearer can decide how the jacket is worn based on his/her needs.
